“These meetings are just normal coordination between state and national leaders. There’s no need to read too much into them,” Wani told reporters in Kupwara as per news agency KINS.

He reaffirmed the strong alliance between the Indian National Congress (INC) and the National Conference (NC) at both state and national levels. “The partnership between INC and the National Conference is solid and will continue to benefit the people of Jammu and Kashmir,” he added, while dismissing rumors of conflict within the coalition.

Wani also discussed the issue of constitutional rights in Jammu and Kashmir, which many believe have been compromised in recent years. “We need to be patient. The process of restoring these rights will take time, but it will happen,” he stated.
