Medical Faculty Association hails Govt decision to order change in GMC, GDC timing

Srinagar, Dec 21: The Medical Faculty Association (MFA), Government Medical College, Srinagar, has extended its heartfelt gratitude to the Minister for Health and Medical Education,

Higher Education, School Education & Social Welfare, Sakeena Itoo, over the recent modification in the timing order which”reflects her deep understanding of the challenges faced by healthcare professionals and her resolve to create a more supportive environment.”

The MFA also extended “our sincere thanks to the Chief Secretary Atal Dullu (IAS) for his kind consideration and proactive efforts in addressing this matter with the urgency it required. His unwavering support has reinforced the confidence of the faculty in the administration and highlights the government’s dedication to improving the working conditions of medical professionals. His role in facilitating this positive change is deeply appreciated.”

“Our deepest gratitude is reserved for the Administrative Secretary, Health and Medical Education, Dr Syed Abid Rasheed Shah (IAS) whose compassionate and pragmatic approach has been instrumental in bringing about this thoughtful adjustment.
