Medical camps organised in Rajouri, Poonch

Srinagar, July 30: Paras Health Srinagar recently held a series of impactful healthcare events, including a "Meet & Greet" with medical experts and free medical camps in Poonch and Rajouri, underscoring their dedication to accessible and quality healthcare for the people of J&K.

A "Meet & Greet" session took place in Rajouri, focusing on case-based interventions in Neurosurgery, Neurology, Orthopaedics and Nephrology. Medical experts shared their insights and clinical experience with attendees, enhancing the understanding of advanced medical practices.

The event featured prominent specialists including Dr Basharat Kanth, Associate Director of Neurosurgery, Dr Hilal Ahmad Ganaie, Associate Director of Stroke Interventions & Neurology, Dr Muhammad Haseeb Gani, Senior Consultant in Orthopaedics, and Dr Abid Ahmad Kuchay, Consultant Nephrologist. The session drew a diverse group of attendees from Govt medical college Rajouri and private practitioners.

Additionally, Paras Health Srinagar organized 2 free medical camps in Poonch and Rajouri, providing essential medical services to underserved communities, in which 850 patients were screened for various illnesses from remote areas- Mendhar, Surankote, Thanamandi, and peripheries of Rajouri.

The Poonch camp was held at Jamia Zia-ul-Uloom, Department of School Education, Poonch, J&K, from 9 am to 4 pm. The Rajouri camp took place at Matrix Hospital, Ward Number 6, Jawahar Nagar, Rajouri, J&K, from 9 am to 6 pm. Both camps offered comprehensive health check-ups and consultations, benefiting a large number of local residents, including 2 spine surgeries assisted by Dr Basharat Kanth.
