Srinagar, Sep 17: A medical camp was organised by the GR Baig Memorial Trust in collaboration with the JK Welfare Society at Hazratbal, Srinagar, on the eve of Eid-Milad-un-Nabi.

The camp was inaugurated by Ishtiyaq Ahmad Baig, Chairman of the GR Baig Memorial Trust and President of the JK Government Employees Conference (NGEWA). On this occasion, Sheikh Majeed, Chairman of the JK Welfare Society, and Senior Vice Chairman Sayeed Haji Shabir Hissain were also present.

According to a press release, visitors at the camp were screened for various ailments, including blood pressure, diabetes, fever, eye infections, orthopaedics, ENT issues, thyroid problems, and dental issues.

Free medicines were provided to the patients, and about 600 patients received care and management as per standard guidelines and protocols. Chairman of the GR Baig Memorial Trust, Ishtiyaq Baig, congratulated the team for their dedication and the successful execution of the camp.
