MEA issues advisory for Indian nationals on travel to Venezuela

New Delhi, Jan 04: The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Government of India, has issued an advisory urging Indian nationals to avoid all non-essential travel to Venezuela in view of recent developments in the South American country.

According to the advisory, all Indians currently in Venezuela have been advised to exercise extreme caution, restrict their movements, and closely monitor the local security situation.

The MEA has further asked Indian nationals in Venezuela to remain in regular contact with the Embassy of India in Caracas for assistance and updates.
