Srinagar, Oct 19: Kanu Priya, a former student of Montessori Cambridge School, Defence Road, Pathankot, has achieved a remarkable feat through her hard work and dedication. She secured the 8th rank in the Haryana Civil Services Judiciary Examination and has been appointed as a Civil Judge in Haryana. This exceptional accomplishment has filled not only her family but the entire school management with immense pride.

Reflecting on her educational background, Kanu Priya completed her schooling at Montessori Cambridge School, Pathankot, before pursuing her LLB at Punjabi University, Patiala, followed by an LLM at Symbiosis International University, Pune. She further achieved a Ph.D. in Judiciary from Delhi University. Her academic journey and her dream of contributing to the judiciary have now been realized through her appointment as a Civil Judge.

Securing a position in the Top 10 of the Haryana Civil Services Examination, Kanu Priya ranked 8th nationwide, a true testament to her hard work and commitment. This success has earned her the prestigious position of Civil Judge in Haryana, marking an extraordinary achievement. The MCS fraternity celebrated her significant accomplishment right outside the Kindergarten classes where she began her nursery education.

In an interview following her achievement, Kanu Priya attributed her success to her parents, Naval Kishore and Kiran Lata, as well as her beloved alma mater. She expressed immense gratitude for the unwavering support she received throughout her journey from both the school and her parents. “I always aimed to serve the nation, and my parents have been my constant source of inspiration, while the school provided me with the foundation I dreamed of,” she said.

The news of her accomplishment has been met with great pride by her former school.

Vinod Mahajan, Chairman of Montessori Cambridge School, congratulated her on this significant achievement. “Kanu Priya’s success is a testament to her hard work and determination. She has brought immense pride to our school,” he stated.

Akash Mahajan, Vice-Chairman, also lauded her achievement, noting that her dedication serves as an example for all students aspiring to excel in their chosen fields. Principal Rashmi Ahluwalia echoed similar sentiments, calling Kanu Priya’s success a “moment of pride” for the entire school community. School officials also noted that MCS alumni hold many high positions, serving in both government and non-government sectors in the country and abroad.
