Srinagar, Oct 7: The Idara Matab Jammu and Kashmir successfully concluded the 9th three-day central workshop ‘Matla-ul-Fajr’ held at Imam Bargah al-Zahra, Bagh Zainab, Shalimar, Srinagar.

A statement of the Idara Matab J&K issued here said that the workshop aimed to promote religious awareness, moral development, and intellectual growth among the youth.

Prominent scholars and teachers from within and outside Kashmir, including Maulana Hakim Sajjad, Maulana Amjad Ali, Maulana Bilal Ali, Maulana Altaf Hussain, Maulana Imran Hussain Haji, Maulana Kifayat Hussain, and guest speaker Maulana Syed Fayaz Baqri Hussaini from Mumbai, delivered insightful lectures and training sessions.

A special session ‘prevention of drugs and substance abuse’ was held at the Shalimar Garden, where psychologist Fida Hussain highlighted the alarming rise of drug addiction, its harmful consequences, and practical ways to combat this social menace.

Physical trainer Rizwan Malik led two sessions on youth physical fitness.

He emphasised physical fitness and introduced the youth to several practical aspects of it.

The concluding ceremony was attended by teachers, distinguished guests, and representatives of Auqaf-e-Imamia.

Head of Idara Matab, Maulana Bashir Ahmad Bhat, emphasised that the primary goal of the workshop was the intellectual and spiritual training of youth, preparing them to play a constructive and faith-driven role in society.

At the end of the programme, certificates and awards were distributed among participants, and Idara Matab expressed gratitude to the management of Imam Bargah al-Zahra for their sincere and dedicated support.
