Massive fire erupts near Pathar Masjid in Srinagar

Srinagar, March 13: Firefighters from many stations have been sent to douse the massive fire which erupted near Pathar Masjid in Srinagar's Downtown Wednesday mid-night, an official said.

The video clips of the fire and live visuals on social media suggest over a couple of residential houses have been gripped by the blaze, however, the official couldn't confirm it.

"All our men are on the spot, everyone. There are scores of people and men from at least all the fire stations in the peripheries are there. No information has been communicated as they are all fighting the huge flames,"an official from the Babadeym Fire Station told Greater Kashmir.
