Massive enthusiasm at drug awareness programme

Ganderbal, Nov 24: Police in Ganderbal under the Civic Action Program organised drug awareness seminar at Sainik School Manasbal. The programme was organised on the directions of SSP Ganderbal  Nikhil Borkar.

On the occasion, doctors, teachers, students  and other dignitaries participated with huge enthusiasm and zest in the seminar which was organised under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Ganderbal Ghulam Hassan.

While speaking on the onset of the seminar, DySP Hqrs Ganderbal delivered inaugural lecture in which he touched various aspects of drug addiction and its causes. He encouraged the participants to refrain from this severe menace and stated that Police is always on toes to eradicate drug menace from the society and are ready to help the youth in fighting this serious issue.

Moreover, Miss Sobiya Shabir (Social Worker Special Cell for Women PS Kheerbawani) started the proceedings of the programme and  students delivered lectures about the catastrophic causes and consequences of drugs.
