Martand Singh meets Rohan Jaitley, discusses sports infrastructure in J&K

Srinagar, Nov 7: Martand Singh, Director of the Amar Singh Sports & Youth Initiative, J&K, on Friday called on Rohan Jaitley, Chairman of the BCCI Committee on Infrastructure and President of the Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA), to discuss the development of cricket and sports infrastructure in Jammu and Kashmir.

As per a statement issued, Martand Singh highlighted the immense sporting talent among the youth of J&K and the pressing need for better facilities and opportunities in the region.

He also expressed gratitude to Rohan Jaitley for his recent visit to J&K and for initiating the process to establish new cricket infrastructure in the Union Territory. He on this occasion also fondly remembered the great contribution of the late Sh Arun Jaitley for the nation, both as a towering political leader and as a cricket administrator associated with BCCI.

Rohan Jaitley emphasised the importance of structured talent identification and sustained support for young athletes across various sports disciplines. Martand Singh also briefed him on the vision and objectives of the newly launched Amar Singh Sports & Youth Initiative, J&K, aimed at nurturing and promoting sports among the youth of Jammu & Kashmir.
