Ganderbal, Jan 14: The declaration of Class 10 examination results on Wednesday brought cheer across Ganderbal district, with several students registering outstanding performances, led by a Kangan girl who secured a perfect score.

Zainab Un Nissa, a resident of Chahtergul village in Kangan, scored 500 out of 500 marks, attributing her success to hard work, dedication and consistent effort throughout the academic session. “Hard work and dedication never go to waste. My regular studies, along with the support of my teachers and family, helped me achieve this result,” she said.

Zainab, who aspires to prepare for the civil services, saw her home filled with relatives and neighbours congratulating the family on her achievement. Her father, Manzoor Ahmed Lone, said the family was proud of her success and had always encouraged her to focus on her studies without pressure.

Celebrations continued in the same area as Zainab’s cousin, Faiqa Fayaz, also delivered an impressive performance by securing 495 marks. Both students study at New Dreamland Educational Institute, Ganderbal. Faiqa, who also aims for civil services, said having a clear strategy and smart work, along with dedication, was key to academic success.

Another student, Farkhanda Kaiser of Gadoora, Ganderbal, and a student of Ingenious School, Malabagh, Srinagar, also secured a perfect 500 out of 500, emerging as one of the top scorers. She said she aspires to pursue a career in the medical field to serve society and credited her teachers and parents for their guidance and support

Several other students from the district also posted high scores. Saira Noor from Wangath, Kangan, secured 496 marks, bringing pride to her area and the tribal community. Students of Islamic Revival International School, Kangan, including Nathifa Javaid, Bisma Hussain and Sheikh Inam, secured 495 marks each.
