Markets of Rajouri, Poonch abuzz ahead of Diwali celebrations

Rajouri, Nov 11: Market areas of twin districts Rajouri and Poonch are abuzz ahead of Diwali celebrations with large scale buyers thronging market areas to purchase commodities especially electronic appliances.
Diwali will be celebrated on Sunday across Rajouri and Poonch like entire country. Large scale celebrations will take place that include bursting of crackers, offering prayers at temples.
The business establishments in urban areas have been decorated by traders to give festive look.
Rajesh Gupta, President Beopar Mandal Rajouri, said that the market area of Rajouri remained jam-packed with customers and sale and purchase practice witnessed multifold increase in markets.
He said that Diwali will be celebrated on Sunday and people have made large scale preparations for it.
