Marengo Asia Hospitals Faridabad starts OPD in bone marrow transplant

Srinagar, Nov 25: Marengo Asia Hospitals Faridabad initiated the launch of OPD services for Hemato-oncology and bone marrow transplants at the Kashmir Clinic Central in Srinagar.

A statement said that these super-specialized services will commence on November 26 at the healthcare facility in Srinagar. The Marengo Asia Hospitals Faridabad team is being led by Dr Meet Kumar, Clinical Director, Hemato-Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant.

Dr Meet comes with experience of more than a decade and a half dedicated to treating all types of blood cancers and blood-related disorders.

The services extended by Dr Meet and his team will be to address any blood-related problems, low hemoglobin or platelets, patients suffering from any type of blood cancer, children suffering from thalassemia, sickle cell, or immunodeficiency diseases, patients advised bone marrow transplants, and immunodeficiency not responding to medical treatments.

Dr. Meet Kumar, Clinical Director, Hemato-oncology and BMT said, “The team and I are looking forward to commencing this OPD at Kashmir Clinic Central to treat thousands of people for symptoms that fall into my specialisation and put them on a foot to recovery. We are extending our services to the population in Kashmir to ensure that patients receive accessible quality healthcare in their own city, reducing the travel costs to access medical treatment in other cities.”
