Man posing as Raj Bhawan official arrested: SSP CICE

Jammu, Feb 27: Cyber Crime Investigation Centre for Excellence (CICE) Crime Branch Jammu has arrested a man posing as Under Secretary posted with Raj Bhawan.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) CICE J&K, Jammu, in an official statement, said, “After taking cognisance, a case FIR No 3/2024 under relevant sections of law was registered at Police Station CICE Jammu against Firdous Ahmad Wagay, son of Ghulam Nabi Wagay of Waskora, Ganderbal.”

The SSP said that a team of Police Station CICE Jammu apprehended the impersonator.

“Some incriminating material, including fake ID cards, seals and other documents used in the commission of crime, has also been seized from his possession,” the SSP said. “Investigation of the case is in progress.”
