Man killed, another injured in Anantnag accident

Anantnag, Sep 22: A man has died while another got injured after they were hit by a vehicle at Mattan area of Anantnag on Sunday, an official said.

According to news agency Kashmir News Observer (KNO) the accident took place at Iqbalabad Mattan during which a vehicle (Swift Dzire) hit two non-local labourers and injured them.

He said one among the injured died on way to hospital, adding that another has been rushed to GMC Anantnag for specialised treatment.

He identified the deceased as Bhuneshwar Bhulyan, a resident of Jharkhand and injured as Mohd Syed Ansari also from Jharkhand. Meanwhile, police have taken cognisance of the accident.
