Man jumps from bridge in Rajouri

Rajouri, May 31: A man Khandli locality of Rajouri has been hospitalised after he fell from main Abdullah bridge of Rajouri town. Police has started investigation into the matter to ascertain the circumstances in which the incident has happened.

The injured man was identified as Mohammad Javed son of Mohammad Zaman resident of Khandli.

Officials of police said that while passing over the bridge when he jumped from it and fell on concrete ground underneath.

He was immediately removed from the spot by locals and taken to GMC Associated Hospital Rajouri where he is under treatment.

"The man is under treatment in Government Medical College Rajouri and is having multiple injuries," the police officials said.

Police further has taken up investigation into the matter to ascertain the circumstances in which the incident has taken place.
