Srinagar, June 11: A man died during a rescue operation after a fire broke out in the forest area of Garan village in Rajouri district.

Officials said that the man sustained severe burn injuries while participating in efforts to control the fire.

He was immediately taken to CHC Kalakote for treatment, where doctors declared him brought dead.

Police have taken cognisance of the incident. (GNS)
