Man dies, another injured in Ramban road accident

Srinagar, Sept 29: A man died, and another was injured in a road accident near Saarika Mander in Chanderkote area of J-K's Ramban, reports said Sunday.

Quoting officials, news agency GNS reported that during early hours of Sunday, a vehicle bearing registration number UP38T 6062 which was coming from Jammu and going towards Srinagar was hit from the back by another vehicle bearing registration number JK02CB7211.

In this incident one helper namely Feroz Ahmad, resident of UP, who was in the car that was hit from behind, was killed on spot while another person was injured.

Meanwhile, the body of the deceased was shifted to Ramban hospital for medico-legal formalities.
