Man dies after falling from mobile tower in central Kashmir’s Budgam

Srinagar, Aug 08: A 35-year-old resident of Lasjan area of Srinagar died after falling from a mobile tower at Cheki-Kawoosa in central Kashmir’s Budgam district, officials said Thursday.

An official told news agency-Kashmir News Corner (KNC) one person namely Waseem Sadeeq Bhat, 35, S/o Mohammad Sadeeq Bhat R/o Lasjan Srinagar fell down from the tower at Cheki Kawoosa Budgam while working on it on Wednesday evening.

"He got seriously injured and was moved to SKIMS Soura hospital Srinagar for treatment, where he succumbed," the official said, adding that after completion of medico legal formalities, the body was handed over to the family members for last rites.
