Man critically injured in scuffle in Khanyar Srinagar, hospitalised 

Srinagar, June 19: A 33-year-old man sustained critical injuries in a scuffle between two groups near the Walnut Factory in Khanyar area of central Kashmir's Srinagar district on Thursday evening.

An official told news agency JKNS that the injured has been identified as Asif Ali Rishi, a resident of Naqashpora Chowk Srinagar.

The victim was injured after an altercation between two groups turned into scuffle, he said.

“He was brought to SMHS Hospital in a critical condition and is currently under treatment,” he said.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident and a case has been registered.

Further investigation is underway, official said.
