Man critically injured in Rajouri highway accident

Rajouri, Dec 24: A 21-year-old youth sustained injuries in a road accident on Wednesday evening at Thandikassi area near Rajouri town.

According to police officials, the mishap occurred when a motorcycle collided with a minibus at Thandikassi.

The injured motorcyclist has been identified as Abrar Ahmed, son of Abdul Razaq, a resident of Thandapani.

He was immediately shifted to the Government Medical College (GMC) and Associated Hospital, Rajouri for treatment.

However, considering the nature of his injuries, he was later referred to GMC Jammu for specialised medical care.

Police have taken cognisance of the incident and further investigation is underway.
