Man climbs mobile tower in Jammu and Kashmir’s Thanamandi, threatens suicide
Rajouri, Feb 19: In a bizzare incident, a young man from Thanamandi in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir climbed over a mobile tower at sub division headquarter today morning, threatening to commit suicide.
Authorities have failed to motivate the man to come down from this tower, despite efforts that are going on for the last several hours.
The man identified as Javid Chowdhury from Thanamandi sub division of Rajouri district, who runs a shop in the main town, reportedly climbed over a mobile tower today morning. This caused panic in the area.
The man, locals said, has been on the top of this mobile tower since morning and is also live on his Facebook account.
“He is leveling serious allegations against authorities and is raising various issues," locals said, adding that senior officers of civil administration and police are at the site making best possible efforts for the man to come down. However all the efforts have proven futile so far.
