Man allegedly murdered in Rajouri over domestic feud

Rajouri, Feb 25: A middle aged man was allegedly murdered over some domestic feud at Androlla village of Rajouri .

The deceased’s sister - in - law and another man from the area have been detained by police in initial investigation of the case.

The deceased has been identified as Kuldeep Raj (41) son of Roop Lal resident of Androlla village of Rajouri.

As per reports, an incident of scuffle took place over some domestic issue in Androlla village of Rajouri in which Kuldeep Raj got injured. He was shifted to GMC Associated Hospital Rajouri where he as declared as brought dead by doctors.

It has been alleged that Kuldeep Raj received injuries during scuffle and later succumbed to these injuries.

Police on the other hand said that the body of deceased was taken into possession soon after arrival in hospital and medico-legal formalities were conducted through doctors while cremation was also done in Androlla village on Sunday evening.

It has further been informed that victim's sister in law (Wife of his younger brother) and another local of the area have been detained in the case so far and their questioning is going on.

A case of murder has also been registered in police station Rajouri, it said.
