Mahindra unveils new CRUZIO BS6 school bus in Anantnag
Anantnag, Nov 5: Mahindra Truck and Bus Division (MTBD), part of the $49.96 billion Mahindra Group, on Wednesday launched its new Mahindra CRUZIO 4250WB 31 D BS6 school bus in Anantnag.
The bus was unveiled by Rishabh Sharma, area business head (Chandigarh AO); Umar Gulzar, sales manager for Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh; and Dharender Sharma, managing director of Prestige Truck and Bus Pvt. Ltd., in the presence of several school representatives.
Sharma said the CRUZIO range marks a major step forward in Mahindra’s light commercial vehicle segment, combining safety, comfort and performance.
The new bus features a Fire Alarm Prevention System (FAPS), complies with AIS 031 and AIS 052 safety norms, and meets the latest AIS 153 standards for noise and vibration. It also offers improved visibility, larger brakes, and the highest ground clearance in its category.
Powered by Mahindra’s FuelSmart technology, the CRUZIO optimizes fuel use based on driving conditions. The model also includes the connected IMAXX telematics system, enabling real-time tracking, safety monitoring and fuel management.
