Maharaj Gunj traders welcome resumption of work on UPHC

Srinagar, Oct 30: The Beopar Mandal Maharaj Gunj has welcomed the resumption of construction of the Urban Primary Health Center (UPHC) at Maharaj Gunj.

“It is a much-needed healthcare facility undertaken through the relentless efforts and dedicated oversight of the Beopar Mandal over the last five years. This project, aimed at bolstering healthcare services in our community, would not have reached this significant milestone without the persistence, commitment, and sustained support of our team members and the invaluable cooperation of the LG administration,” Khursheed Ahmad Dalal president of the Beopar Mandal said in a statement.

“However, we are compelled to address the recent unwarranted claims made by certain self-styled activists who have attempted to take undue credit for this project. Their claims undermine the collective efforts of the Beopar Mandal Maharaj Gunj, whose members have tirelessly advocated for this facility and worked alongside the administration to make it a reality,” the statement added.

“The Beopar Mandal extends its gratitude to the LG administration for its support and cooperation throughout this journey,” it added.
