Magnificent Nagar Kirtan taken out in Jammu

Jammu, Jan 3: A magnificent Nagar Kirtan Wednesday was taken out in Jammu, in connection with the ensuing Prakash Utsav of Guru Gobind Singhji- the 10th Guru of Sikhs, with religious fervour.

Thousands of enthusiastic devotees participated in the religious procession that began from Chand Nagar Gurudwara. It culminated at Guru Nanak Nagar Gurudwara after passing through all main bazaars of Jammu.

Ghatka – with awe inspiring acts of martial art displayed by Sikh youth proved to be the main highlight of Nagar Kirtan and a major attraction for devotees as well as onlookers.

The participants were offered sweet water, juices and other eatables by shopkeeper associations in different markets.
