M K Dwivedi’s post upgraded to Additional Secy level

Jammu, Nov 18: The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet has approved an extension in the upgradation of the post of Joint Secretary to the level of Additional Secretary in the Department of Personnel and Training, presently held by Manoj Kumar Dwivedi, a senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of AGMUT cadre (previously called J&K cadre).

Dwivedi is among nine officers, whose posts have been approved for extension in temporary up-gradation by the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions of the Department of Personnel and Training.

As per the order, an extension in the upgradation of this post, presently held by Dwivedi, IAS (AGMUT: 97), has been granted for a term up to November 18, 2025.

He served as Principal Secretary, the J&K General Administration Department and J&K Health and Medical Education Department before he went on central deputation and was appointed as Joint Secretary.
