LS polls | Tiwari appointed state CAPF coordinator

Jammu, Nov 21: J&K Home department has appointed two senior Indian Police Service (IPS) officers as state CAPF coordinator and nodal officer for Lok Sabha elections - 2024.

“Sanction is hereby accorded to the appointment of Mahendra Nath Tiwari, IPS (IGP, Armed, Jammu) as State CAPF Coordinator, and Sarah Rizvi-IPS (DIG IR Jammu), as Nodal Officer (Election Expenditure) for Lok Sabha Elections-2024,” read an order issued by Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary) Home Raj Kumar Goyal.
