Low-speed internet services restored in Pir Panjal

Rajouri, Feb 8: A day after complete suspension, the authorities Thursday restored low-speed mobile internet services in the twin districts of Rajouri and Poonch.

The overall security situation in the entire region remained calm and peaceful.

Mobile internet services were suspended in Pir Panjal in the morning on Wednesday as a precautionary measure to maintain the law and order situation after the bill for amendment of Scheduled Tribes was moved in the Lok Sabha. On Thursday, low-speed mobile internet services were restored in the region with a few hundred kbps speed available for people to surf the internet.

Heaving a sigh of relief from this, locals though requested the authorities to restore full-speed 5G mobile internet services in the region.
