LoP calls on LG, seeks age relaxation for CCE aspirants
Jammu, Dec 4: Leader of Opposition Sunil Sharma Thursday met the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Lok Bhawan, Jammu, to strongly raise the long-pending demand of age relaxation for Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) aspirants across Jammu and Kashmir.
Sharma conveyed that a large number of aspirants and delegations had been approaching him for several weeks, seeking intervention on the issue of upper-age relaxation in various recruitment processes.
He informed the LG Sinha that many aspirants also mailed their concerns, highlighting the difficulties they faced due to age restrictions and repeated delays in recruitment cycles.
During the meeting, Sunil Sharma presented the collective concerns of youth and urged the Lieutenant Governor to sympathetically consider granting age relaxation, keeping in view the aspirations of thousands of candidates.
LG Sinha gave a patient hearing to the matter.
Sharma expressed hope that the administration would take a positive decision to safeguard the future of deserving aspirants.
He assured the youth that he would continue to follow up the issue until a favourable outcome was achieved.
