Srinagar, Mar 21:  A series of awareness programmes were held under Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation program (SVEEP) in various schools of the Srinagar district. According to an official press release, the programmes were held on the directions of District Election Officer (DEO), Dr Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat and conducted under the supervision of District Nodal Officer SVEEP, A H Fani. During which awareness programmes and rallies were organised at GGHSS Kothibagh and SP Model Higher Secondary School.

Speaking about the ongoing SVEEP activities, the District Election Officer, Dr Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat urged the young voters to inspire their families, friends, relatives and neighbors for participating in the upcoming General Elections elections with enthusiasm.

The DEO also emphasised the young voters to play their role as ambassadors of democracy.

He also congratulated and commend the students who will be casting their vote for the first time in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections

The DEO further expressed his admiration for their enthusiasm and commitment to playing an active role in the electoral process. He emphasized the importance of informed decision-making and encouraged them to approach this democratic responsibility with diligence and awareness.
