Lok Adalat for Consumer Cases held

Srinagar, Aug 23: The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Srinagar today organised a special Lok Adalat for the amicable settlement of Consumer cases at the District Court Complex (DCC) Mominabad, Srinagar

The Lok Adalat held in the Court of District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Srinagar, was conducted under the able direction of Justice Tashi Rabstan, Chief Justice (A) of the High Court of J&K and Ladakh, and under supervision of Jawad Ahmed, Chairman of the DLSA (Pr. District & Sessions Judge) Srinagar.

One bench was constituted for the said Lok-Adalat that took up 16 cases for settlement, out of which 07 cases were amicably settled and Rs. 5,39,022 was awarded as settlement amount in Consumer Cases.
