Aru Valley, a picturesque tourist destination in Pahalgam, is facing significant challenges due to the absence of mobile connectivity and internet services. The issue has left hundreds of daily visitors and local businesses in a lurch, struggling to adapt in an increasingly digital world. Despite the rapid advancements in mobile technology, tourists visiting Aru Valley are unable to use their mobile phones for essential services. "We rely on digital payments during our travels, but in Aru Valley, we can't use our money to make any purchases. It's incredibly difficult," shared a dejected tourist. The lack of connectivity also impacts local transporters and other service providers. "Without a mobile network, we feel like we're living in the 19th century," said a local transporter. "It's hard to earn our livelihood when we can't communicate with potential customers.
