Local golfer Zahid Zahidani hits rare hole-in-one at Royal Spring Golf Course

Srinagar, Feb 16: A remarkable achievement was seen at the Royal Spring Golf Course in Srinagar when local golfer Zahid H Zahidani hit a hole-in-one.

Playing with Dr Suhail Khanday, Dr Harmeet Singh Mehta and Fiyaz Bhat on Wednesday, Zahidani accomplished the elusive hole-in-one by driving straight into the hole on the 3-par, fifth hole of the course.

For most amateur and professional golfers, a hole-in-one is a lifelong dream that few get to experience. Hitting it requires precise ball-striking skills and some luck as the odds are 12,500 to 1 according to the National Hole in One Registry.

Zahidani's hole-in-one is therefore an incredible feat worth celebrating.

For the long-time golfer and member, it is certainly a career highlight that will remain etched in his memory forever.
