LMVs to be allowed from both sides along Srinagar-Jammu National Highway tomorrow
Srinagar, April 21:Traffic police on Sunday said that subject to fair weather and good road condition, Light Motor Vehicles (LMVs) shall be allowed from both sides along the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway on Monday.
However, for the Heavy Motor Vehicles (HMVs) it said that they shall be regulated only after assessing the road condition.
"Cut off timing for LMVs in view of single road at Dalwas, Panthyal, Nachlana, Kishtwari Pather etc:- (subject to change depending on road condition) from Nagrota (Jammu) 0700 hrs to 1300 hrs from Jakheni (Udhampur) 0800 hrs to 1400 hrs & from NAVYUG Tunnel (Qazigund side) 0700 hrs to 1300 hrs," it said.
No Vehicle shall be allowed after cut off timing, it said.
Traffic police advised security forces to not to ply against the traffic advisory.
Regarding the Srinagar-Sonmarg-Gumri road, traffic police said that only one way traffic shall be allowed after getting approval from road maintenance afencies.
These vehicles shall be allowed from Minamarg at 0800 hrs upto 1100 hrs, it said.

Motorists without 4x4 are advised to carry anti-skid chain to gain more grip on the slippery road. No vehicle shall be allowed without anti skid chain/after cut off timing, it said.
Meanwhile, Mughal Road, Bhaderwah-Chamba roads remain blocked.
