Light to moderate rains, thundershowers at isolated places of J&K till July 3: MeT

Srinagar, June 30: Meteorological Centre Srinagar Sunday predicted light to moderate rainfall in isolated places of Jammu and Kashmir till July 3.

It also said that there is a possibility of intermittent light to moderate rains at most places of Jammu & Kashmir with heavy showers from July 4 to 7.

“From June 30^th to July 3^rd, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain, thundershower at many places of Jammu division towards late night/early morning; and spell of rain/thundershower at few places of Kashmir division towards afternoon & evening,” MeT official said.

He continued that from July 4^th to 7^th, there is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall at most places of Jammu & Kashmir with heavy showers and rainfall at few places.

While issuing advisory, the official said that flash floods, landslides/mudslides and shooting stones at few vulnerable places may occur. He also said that few places may experience of moderate thunderstorm and lightning.
