Srinagar, Dec 15: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has predicted light snow over higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir between December 21 and 22.

Today the weather will remain generally cloudy, while on December 16-17, it will be dry, an official said.

He said on December 18 the weather will remain generally cloudy, while it will be cloudy with mainly dry between December 19 and 20.

The official maintained that there will be generally cloudy with light snow over higher reaches towards late evening/night of December 21 and 22 early morning.

During December 23 to 25, there will be cloudy with dray weather.

He said that cold wave to continue at isolated to scattered places.

While issuing advisory, the official said that in view of fresh snowfall sub-freezing temperature and icy conditions over roads of important passes and higher reaches, the tourists, travelers and transporters are advised to follow advisories issued by administration and traffic department.
