LG Sinha stresses timely completion of Amarnath yatra infrastructure

Ganderbal, Jun 11: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha Wednesday called for the completion of infrastructure projects to enhance facilities for Amarnath Yatris.

Conducting the on-site inspection of the Disaster Management and Yatri Niwas Complex of Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board (SASB) at Baltal axis in Ganderbal, LG Sinha ascertained the progress of the work being carried out at the site and directed the officials for timely completion of the infrastructure projects being developed to enhance facilities for pilgrims of Amarnath Yatra.

At Domail, he also interacted with the task force members and Border Roads Organisation (BRO) staff engaged in improving and maintaining the yatra track.

The LG was accompanied by MD J&K Police Housing Corporation, S J M Gillani; Principal Secretary to LG and CEO SASB, Mandeep K. Bhandari; Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri; IGP Kashmir, Vidhi Kumar Birdi and Deputy Commissioner, Ganderbal, Jatin Kishore.
