LG Sinha launches portal for armed forces personnel

Srinagar, Sep 27: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday launched the Lieutenant Governor’s Sainik Sahayta Kendra (LGSSK) Portal at Raj Bhawan, aimed at providing a single-window facilitation centre for serving personnel of the armed forces and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs).

The portal – accessible at lgssk.jk.gov.in – will streamline civil issue redressal for service members belonging to J&K as well as those deployed in the Union Territory.

It ensures structured follow-up and transparent monitoring of each case. “LGSSK will serve as a dedicated platform to resolve issues with authenticity and accountability,” officials said, adding that applications must be routed through the respective Commanding Officer. Prasanna Ramaswamy G, Secretary, Tribal Affairs Department and in-charge of the Kendra, made a detailed presentation on its functioning under the supervision of the J&K Home Department.
