Srinagar, Oct 25: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday met a group of outstanding sportspersons from Delhi Public School (DPS) Srinagar at Raj Bhawan.

LG Sinha, as per an official statement, congratulated them for their remarkable performances in national and international sports events, extending his best wishes for their future endeavours.

The delegation of students included Hurriyah Showkat, Samma and Mysha Bilal Kanth (silver medallists at the 3rd Junior Asian Pencak Silat Championship), Zaid Ali (69th National School Games – Football), and the winning team of the Inter-DPS Football Tournament (Boys Open, Zone 1). They were accompanied by Monisa Khursheed, vice-principal, and Mudasir Bashir, sports secretary, of Delhi Public School Srinagar.
