LG Manoj Sinha chairs high-level security meet to discuss J&K situation, Amarnath Yatra

Srinagar, May 20: A high-level security meeting is being chaired by LG Manoj Sinha in Srinagar to discuss the current situation in Kashmir and the upcoming Amarnath Yatra, sources said.

They said the meeting is being attended by top officials from intelligence agencies, Jammu and Kashmir Police, and security forces.

The meeting is expected to focus on the current security situation across Jammu and Kashmir. 

A key agenda point will be the upcoming Amarnath Yatra, scheduled to commence on July 3. 

Officials will discuss and review the security arrangements for the pilgrimage to ensure a smooth and secure experience for devotees, said a source.
