LG Ladakh Kavinder Gupta meets PM Modi

Kargil, Aug 02: Lieutenant Governor Ladakh Kavinder Gupta on Saturday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the national capital.

In a post on X, PMO India said, “Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh Kavinder Gupta, met Prime Minister @narendramodi".

This is the first official meeting of the LG Ladakh with the Prime Minsiter Narendra Modi, after taking over as the new Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh UT.

Notably, few days back the LG Ladakh had said that he will meet the Prime Minister and Union Home Minister to discuss Ladakh’s development. “I will deliberate all the issues and measures desired to ensure the progress of Ladakh as per people’s aspirations. We will do everything possible to make Ladakh progressing and developed,” LG Gupta had said.

The LG Ladakh is likely to meet the Union Home Minister Amit Shah later in the evening as well.
