Kishtwar accident: J&K LG, CM express grief over loss of lives

Jammu, Jan 5: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Sunday expressed grief over the loss of lives due to an accident near the Sanyas area in Kishtwar district of Chenab Valley.

In a condolence message, LG Sinha said: “Pained by the loss of lives due to a tragic road accident in Kishtwar. In this hour of grief, my thoughts are with those who have lost their loved ones.”

CM Omar also expressed grief and sorrow over the death of four persons in the accident.

Terming the incident as a great loss of precious human lives, the CM conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families.

He prayed for strength and fortitude for them during this hour of grief.

The CM said that his office was in constant touch with the district administration, which was making all possible efforts to trace the two individuals still missing following the accident.
