Let's not be fooled again: Usman Majid

Srinagar, May 6: Apni Party Vice President, Usman Majid, today appealed the people of Kashmir to exercise their voting rights judiciously in the Lok Sabha elections.

In a statement he said, “ For far too long, the people of Kashmir have endured the deception and broken promises of traditional political entities. They have been misled under the false pretense of autonomy, self-rule, and the protection of Articles 370 and 35A. These hollow assurances have only served to betray the aspirations and dreams of our beloved Kashmiri brethren.”

Majid added that now, as these same parties reemerge on the political landscape, they seek to perpetuate the cycle of deceit and manipulation once again. “It is incumbent upon every conscientious voter to see through their thinly veiled tactics and hold them accountable for their past failures,” he stated.

The Apni Party leader said that the responsibility rests squarely on the shoulders of each and every citizen to deliver a resounding message through their vote—a message that demands transparency, integrity, and genuine progress. Let us not be swayed by empty rhetoric or false promises. “Let us instead empower ourselves with the knowledge that our votes wield the power to shape the destiny of Jammu and Kashmir,” he said.

Majid called upon the electorate to wield their voting power responsibly, delivering a resounding message to the traditional parties that the people demand transparency, integrity, and genuine progress.
