Let us build J&K thriving on unity, compassion: Farooq Shah

Srinagar, Nov 17: MLA Gulmarg Farooq Ahmad Shah today appealed the people to together build a Jammu and Kashmir that thrives on unity, compassion, and resilience.

According to a press release, he was addressing a number functions. “MLA Gulmarg, Farooq Ahmad Shah, devoted his day to a series of impactful engagements that underscored his unwavering commitment to fostering growth, promoting welfare, and nurturing compassion in Jammu and Kashmir. The activities reflected his vision of progress rooted in unity, resilience, and care for the community, ”it added.

Shah, alongside Nasir Aslam Wani, Advisor to the Chief Minister, flagged off the athletes of Team India from J&K. These talented individuals are set to represent the nation in the Asia World Cup in Malaysia. He expressed immense pride in their determination, describing them as a beacon of inspiration for the youth of Jammu and Kashmir, and extended his best wishes for their success.

He also attended a seminar organised by JKPICCA. Shah and other speakers highlighted the critical role of the horticulture sector in shaping Jammu and Kashmir’s economic future. He emphasised the importance of innovation and collective efforts to strengthen this vital sector, calling it a legacy of growth and resilience that drives prosperity in the region.

At an event organised by the Kashmir Welfare Trust, MLA Gulmarg attended the chief guest and distributed winter kits to needy families.

Earlier in the day, MLA Gulmarg, Farooq Ahmad Shah, visited the villages of Shrai, Vahipora, Kralweth, and Lalpora in his constituency.

He offered condolences and sympathies to families mourning the loss of their loved ones, prayed for the departed souls, and assured the bereaved families of his continued support during their time of grief.
