Leopard cub rescued in Ganderbal

Ganderbal, February 17: The wildlife department with the help of locals on Monday rescued a leopard cub in Wussan area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.

A wildlife official said, upon receiving the  information about the presence of a leopard cub in Wussan area, they rushed a team and rescued the leopard cub with locals' help.

A video viral on social media showed a youth climbing to top of a poplar tree rescuing the leopard cub before the wildlife authorities tranquillised the animal.
