Srinagar, Sep 10: LEAD Group, India’s largest school Edtech company, has launched TECHBOOK, a cutting-edge learning tool set to revolutionize traditional education. TECHBOOK combines advanced technology with a curriculum aligned to the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) to tackle key challenges faced by students today.

A statement said that LEAD Group co-founder and CEO, Sumeet Mehta, emphasised the need for innovation in education, stating, "For centuries, the textbook has remained unchanged as a primary tool of education. Meanwhile, AI, AR, and VR have transformed other industries with personalized, multi-modal, and gamified experiences.

We have brought something from the future, for the future of our nation. TECHBOOK is the result of years of research in technology, pedagogy, and curriculum, and it will forever change how students learn. By 2028, we expect India’s top 5,000 schools to upgrade to TECHBOOKs, making personalized and interactive learning the norm in classrooms nationwide."

It said that TECHBOOK overcomes the limitations of traditional textbooks by offering a personalised and interactive learning experience that adapts to varying student learning levels.

The introduction of Augmented Reality Instructor (ARI) brings subjects like Science and Mathematics to life, allowing students to engage with complex concepts in 3D. For language learning, the Independent Reading Assistant (IRA) provides real-time feedback on reading fluency and pronunciation, acting as a personal tutor. Personalized Interactive Exercises (PIE) provide adaptive, limitless exercises to help students master subjects at their own pace.

Mehta announced that in its first year, TECHBOOKs will be available on an "invite-only" basis to the top 400 innovator schools in India. The goal is to set a new standard of learning and demonstrate India’s leadership in using AI and technology to create a student-centered educational experience.
