Laigaroo urges DC Srinagar to rehabilitate Karfali Mohalla, Habba Kadal fire victims

Srinagar, Oct 23: PDP Senior Leader and Former State Secretary Arif Laigaroo has urged the Deputy Commissioner Srinagar to take immediate steps for the rehabilitation of the fire victims of Karfalli Mohalla and Bana Mohalla, Ganpatyar Habba Kadal. Several residential houses were completely gutted in a massive fire incident that broke out recently in the area, leaving many families homeless and in distress.

Expressing deep concern over the plight of the affected families, Laigaroo said that the victims have lost their homes and belongings and are facing immense hardships, especially with winter around the corner.

“The victims of these unfortunate incidents must not be left to suffer. The administration should expedite the relief and rehabilitation process so that the fire-hit families can rebuild their lives with dignity,” Laigaroo said. He also urged local NGOs, social activists, and the general public to come forward and extend every possible support to the victims during this difficult time.
