Laigaroo congratulates Mehbooba Mufti, Aga Syed Muntazir on Budgam win

Srinagar, Nov 14: People’s Democratic Party senior leader and former State Secretary Arif Laigaroo has congratulated PDP President Mehbooba Mufti and Aga Syed Muntazir Mehdi on their significant victory in the Budgam election.

Laigaroo, as per a statement, said that the people of Budgam have delivered a clear and powerful mandate in favour of PDP’s vision for peace, dignity, and democratic rights in Jammu & Kashmir. “People of Budgam have once again shown their unshakeable faith in the visionary leadership of Mehbooba Mufti ji,” Laigaroo stated, adding that the results reflect the deep connection the PDP shares with the grassroots and its unwavering commitment to public welfare.

He further said, “This victory is a clear message that the people of Budgam stand firmly with Mehbooba Mufti’s vision of dignity, justice, and democratic empowerment for Kashmir.”

Calling Aga Syed Muntazir Mehdi’s win a victory of honesty, hard work, and constructive politics, Laigaroo added.
