Leh, June 20: The Ladakh Taekwondo Association marked International Yoga Day with a dynamic event at Leh's Boxing Hall, showcasing a unique fusion of martial arts and yoga.

Students from Team Dragon Chan Club demonstrated 14 yoga asanas, followed by impressive Taekwondo techniques and poomsae. The event highlighted the association's commitment to promoting physical fitness and well-being.

In a touching gesture, parents of the players served as chief guests, presenting certificates and upgraded belts to high-performing athletes from a recent Color Belt Grading.

Coach Mohd Javed, who organised the event under the supervision of Association President Mohammad Ramazan Khan, emphasised the importance of maintaining good health in today's competitive world. He stressed the role of yoga, sports, and Taekwondo in achieving physical and mental wellness.
